1. How do I sign up for Last Marathon?
 
A1. With a computer and a wireless or Wi-Fi card or adapter:
  1. Scan for wireless network (if you don’t know how to do this, see A2 or A3 below)
2. Connect to the network named “Last Marathon”
3. Open Internet Explorer or Firefox Web Browser. The Last Marathon login page will appear.
4.Click on “Click to Sign Up” and follow the instructions
A2. To scan for wireless networks in Windows XP:
  1. Find and open “My Computer”
2. On the left pane, under “Other places”, Find and open “My Network Places”
3. On the left, under ”Network Tasks”, open “View Network Connections”
4. Under “LAN or High Speed Connection”, right click on “Wireless Network Connection”.
5. Click on “View Available Wireless Networks” (if you get an error, use the configuration program that came with your wireless adapter).
6. Select “Last Marathon”
A3. To scan for wireless networks in Windows Vista:
  1. Click “Start” – “Connect to”

2. My username and password do not work?
 
A1. Make sure you are using the correct username and password
A2. Make sure you are adding “@ccr.net” after your username

A1. Put “@ccr.net” after your username and try again.
4. My AOL email does not work, what do I do?
 
A1. Make sure that you are connected to the internet by browsing to one of two websites, then call AOL.

A1. Like using a cell phone in a weak signal area, try moving your computer or wireless adapter near a window that is facing one of the Last Marathon Access Points

Many good quality laptop and laptop wireless cards will work on the network. However, Last Marathon does not support internal wireless cards.

  Customers have reported the best results with USB adapters that are connected to the computer with a USB cable.
  Good results were reported by customers using the DLINK DWA-142, Linksys WUSB300N, Hawking HWU8DD, Buffalo WLI-U2-G300N
  No matter which adapter you buy, make sure that the adapter has a cable, so that you can place it near a window that faces a Last Marathon Access Point.
  Adapters may be purchased at Best Buy, Circuit City, CompUSA or other consumer electronics stores. You may also try Staples, Office Max or other office supply store.
9. My Windows Updates does not work?
 
A1. Contact Microsoft for issues related to Windows Updates.
A2. Windows Vista users may have to wait for Windows Vista Service Pack 1 if they are having problems with Windows Updates.
10. Is email provided by Last Marathon Networks?
 
A1. No, Last Marathon just provides the Internet connection
11. How do I get email?
 
A1. You can use Yahoo, MSN or Google email services to obtain free email.
12. What is the speed?
